Sometimes I break from painting and working with paper mache. I think it is important to switch and have something new to learn and do. I believe that discipline is super important when working on our passion, however creativity needs so many things…
In this photo I am doing paper mache balls that will use later. When I worked as a printer I was worried about the great waste of paper. This feeling has led me to create my pearls. In the past I also did many other things in paper mache, but this pearl has my particularly love.
I am sure that paper is fantastic for those who want to create unique things recycling. Versatile, abundant, it costs nothing, using it we clean the environment. While I work with paper mache I meditate and relax.
Now I tell you how I work with Paper Mache:
When the paper bucket is full, I finely tear it and then add water, a drop of essential oil and bleach. After two or three days when it softened I mix it with the immersion blender. And then squeezing the pulp I’m making paper balls, and while I do this I’m careful to filter it in the sink with a paper towel. While working with paper mache I put on music and concentrate on good things. This manual work allows to recharge us.
Some months down the road, when the weather will be mild (only in the warm period, the paper mache dries naturally), I will show you how to use paper mache that I put aside. To not miss a thing subscribe to my mail list at the side of this post or follow me on Facebook. I will show you about my personal process, in the meantime I’m going to finish my true Dreams Artwork..
