Marylin Monroe and the story with the male chicken

Hi there … I am excited because a sweet girl who lives in the Netherlands and that seems a fairy,  wanted my locket necklace with Marylin and White hen that means “Life”. He wanted to put inside the locket the feather of  her dear Herman rooster in his memory. I suddenly wrote with joy the message that she has designed for him and put it inside the locket.

Having done this, however, I felt a lot of emotions inside me… slowly I’ve seen this thing as a spell or cosmic law, incomprehensible some times, but immutable. I simply pulled out my emotions, I painted my canvas and someone in another distant country, some time later, who does not speak my language, has noticed and felt very close to me for a moment.

How nice to be able to live these emotions…!  With this small gesture of immense Rianne, I had a great gift. She gave me energy to continue and I can only return it with so much affection. It ‘s a tennis game where everyone wins, is the vision of a new old story.

Here is the letter that sent Rianne me and that made me jump in the chair:

“Hi.. My best friend’s name is Herman. He is a male chicken, always sitting on my shoulder and going wherever I go. I found him when he was 1day old, took care of him and from that moment he was with me always. He died a few weeks ago. Very unexpected, he got sick… I miss him more than I can put into words. I never before got to know a chicken, and Herman turned out to be a very loving, intelligent and gentle creature, who gives the best hugs ever and goes crazy whenever he sees a grape. I found this medallion while searching for some kind of glass necklace where I can put some of Herman’s feathers in, so I can keep them close to my heart. Thanks for your imagination<3 Your painting and me&Herman, we look much alike;) I was really stunned to find this necklace. Much love, Rianne”

This is the message that Rianne asked me to write inside the locket:

“dearest Herman….. chickenhugs are the best”

Margherita Arrighi
