This beautiful boy, with that scruffy indie-cred appeal, with kissing cheeks and the pink hearted nose, is my French Bulldog. He who does not have to ask … never…! He is the Love in person and anyone fall at his feet. He’s called “Tombeur de Femmes” because he’s a French lover, but his home is the World.
Amour? oui…c’est moi…!
Want to know more about his outfit? A French cap, the red fire-scarf… the white and black t-shirt, and a little red heart shaping space between the rows. His large almond eyes penetrate us while he smokes pipe indifferent to everything. The more I look at it and the more I feel attracted to him, because it’s a mixture of sweetness, safety and serenity.
Do you know what…! I really like to do illustrations, because enjoy a lot with pencils. I love oil colors, but I also love the effect of my “Derwent Pastel” which is a bit a traditional pencil and a chalk, and the shades are beautiful…! About black and white colors I prefer acrylic, because it’s thicker and because with the brush it’s nice to spread colors.
As soon as I’ve finished design, I just load it on my computer and edit it with a photo retouch program. The levels allow me to work on nuances and to add quietly the words that I have previously written on another sheet with the Uniposca pen.
